MyeongDong and Namsan, Seoul Tower

Ariyo's buddy, Ki Won, and her friend made special arrangements to bring us out the entire day. Lunch at a famous tonkatsu restaurant in Myeongdong.

After our late lunch, we took a leisurely stroll through Myeongdong shopping district and made our way to Namsan.

It was a loong walk but worth the walk.

Seoul Tower. Mt Namsan is the place which is featured in "Beautiful Days", where 李饼馅 viewed downtown Seoul at sunrise with his girl. I think "My lovely Samsoon" was shot here too. Outstanding landmark of the metropolitan city of Seoul.

After photowhoring at Seoul Tower (which my photos didnt turn out very well -.-), we made our way back to Myeongdong. We went to eat yoghurt icecream at Red Mango again. Saw some graffiti on the wall of the outlet and I added some of mine too. Haha.

Condoms sold at subway. 0.3 mm thickness. hmm.

We had our dinner at 10 plus. At some restaurant in the alleys of Sinchon. We were looking for some non-spicy and non-fried food and with rice , for our dear Mandy, which was virtually non-existent in Seoul. Out of frustration, we just walked into one restaurant and just sat there and ordered. We were being served some spicy-looking soup, much to the horror of Mandy. Our sadistic Ariyo was excited at the thought of getting high from spice again.

In the end, it turned out to be not spicy at all. More like bak kut teh with pepper. -.-
The pork ribs were pretty good, the meat was soft and well cooked. I haven't eaten any pork ribs since I came Korea. The food kind of made me start to miss home and my mother's soup..for the first time.
