Gearing up for Yon-go-jeon. (the games showdown between Yonsei and Korea University). The streets leading up to Yonsei in Sinchon were filled with banners to celebrate this event. Looking forward to Friday and the weekends when the action begins!
Today, Mandy and I met up with Derek, a Korean student whom we met during our Business Communication. He brought us to this place in Sinchon called Mindulre Youngto, more famously known as Minto.
The building is shaped like a castle, which makes it quite prominent in Sinchon.
Its a cafe and a cool hangout place for Korean youths and couples. I vaguely recall Edward telling me to visit this place if I had the time.
Their recruiting ad. If you get hired, you're probably hot enough to make guys spill their coffee. I've heard about how stringent they are when it comes to hiring waitresses and waiters. Only those good-looking ones and pretty looking ones could serve their cups..of drinks.

The entrance, pretty impressive. Had a princess-like feel to it, haha.
The waitresses here dress up like those Japanese cosplay maids.

You pay 5,000 won (8 bucks) and get coffee/tea/juice/latte refills, plus one bread, ricecakes or a cup of ramen. Its a nice place and it's built to encourage people to sit around for a bit, chill and relax. Popular with people studying, chatting or going on dates. Well, most of the people there were on dates, from what I observed.
The dishes were pricey and so we just did refills and chatted. They had several floors and I think the waitresses kind of rotated once in a while, so it was pretty good ^_^. Our poor Mandy was complaining about the lack of male eye candies though. Lol.

With a waitress. :P. With Derek.
