Pusan Continued

After a night at our guesthouse, we set out for Taejungdae which was a tourist attraction composed of Shinsun (Taoist Monk) Rock and Jujunja (kettle) Island. Some place where some king sat and look out to the sea to meditate...something along that line.

Shyt, I think I am becoming more artistic. Or maybe its the place, I can never take this sort of photos in singapore.

It was a photo competition between Ariyo, Liwei and I to see who could take the nicest photo of that spot.

The Jagalchi fish market. Fish and shellfish are sold fresh to consumers, almost right off the boat. The area is lined with tanks containing all sorts of fish, eels, squid, shellfish, and mollusks. Some areas have workers preparing the seafood for long term storage. We watch as the fish get scaled, beheaded, chopped up, and served for us all in record time.

Our lunch. We ate some eel/catfish/ suckerfish like creature..which was still wriggling when they served us. The HK girls were extremlyy freaked out that they left to scour for their own food. Tsk. It taste pretty good even though we couldn't make out head or tail the parts we were eating.

After that, I wanted to try sashimi but no one seemed interested.

So, we went for some traditional Korean pancake, their form of seafood pizza with leeks and onions.

After lunch, we went around Nampodong? (honestly I forgot most of the pusan area names), which was a shopping district of Pusan. Trendy shops and branded shops aplenty..so we did window shopping since we didn't have much money. Boutique selling the clothes that Eun hye wore in Coffee Prince.

In the evening, we took a train ride to Gyeongju...

Our guesthouse where we retired for the night after a tiring day of sightseeing and late night drinking. We had some crazy punishment for Ariyo since he was allergic to alcohol, we forced him to drink up 6 packs worth of concentrated coffee...which left him in an uber high mood, just like the rest of us who were intoxicated with soju. Hahaha. But he suffered worse than us because he couldnt sleep at all.. and puked coffee. Lol.
