My vision when we woke up. We were on the bus heading to Bulguksa temple, which was one of the most famous and frequented temple in Korea. In Korea, and Seoul especially, you'll see so many churches that you forget that there are actually Buddhists residing in Korea.
We also went to the Sokkuram Grotto nearby to look at the shrine, which was renown for its Shilla religio-artistic work. Both Bulguksa and the grotto were UNESCO's World Heritage sites..they were nice but one peeve about these sites, they are so packed that it kills the mood.

Holy water ar..reminds me of the Sembawang pond where people soak their feet.
Some scripture which looks like a giant TV screen with text.

Maple. Children drinking water.

This has to be my most religious day in Korea. I went to two temples!!

Courtesy of our talented photographer Ariyo. Haha.

Souvenir shop. Tablets where people wrote wishes, which will be used for construction of temple extensions/ new structures.

Artistic shots by Crystal.

I like the Korean kids here so much that I am so tempted to smuggle a few back to Singapore to keep. In a dungeon or groom them into future BoAs or Ha Ji Wons.
We went to many other mini places but I shall not blog in detail because I do not have the luxury to. We stopped by this field and we started camwhoring.

We were trying to take CD album covers-like photos. hahah.

Scenery by the road.

Teletubby set? Or some magical Boob land?.. Its actually the graves of some important Korean generals.
At some lake/pavillion where a king used to stroll and enjoy his leisure time feeding ducks.

Our last stop was to drop by their famous Hwang Nam bakery to try out their bakery. Tasted pretty good but not exceptionally fantastic. Like the ordinary tau sa pastries. I still prefer the chewy ricecake filled pastries they have here in Seoul bakeries.
